Hand hygiene for children in day-care in private homes

The aim of the project is 1) to draft a report for the National Board of Health that presents possibilities and barriers to preventive measures of hand hygiene for children in day-care in private homes and 2) to elaborate recommendations for possible interventions in this area.

The SBi part of the project focuses on improving hand hygiene by isolating sources of contagion by means of built-in hygienic measures, i.e. building solutions ensuring that correct hand hygienic routines function appropriately.

Target group

Primarily the National Board of Health. The target group for the intervention that will be recommended is yet to be determined. It could be the day-care providers in private homes, pedagogic consultants, etc.
