Updated version of computer program Bv98
The project aims to extend the computer program Bv98 for calculating heating requirements of buildings as a result of a new Appendix 2 to the Danish Building Regulations 95 and a new Appendix 1 to the Building Regulations for Small Dwellings 98, as well as new calculation rules in Appendix 4 to Danish Standard 418: Calculation of heat loss from buildings (DS 418).
The background is that Appendix 4 to DS 418 introduces ‘linear transmission coefficient in W/mK’, a new concept that describes the heat loss through structures with a linear extent, e.g. as foundations, and through joints, e.g. surrounding windows and doors. Moreover, higher temperatures in constructions with floor heating should be calculated. This has resulted in a revision of the energy frames of the Danish Building Regulations and new requirements to linear transmission coefficients for foundations and joints around windows including constructions with floor heating.
