Evaluation of demand-controlled ventilation systems
This demonstration project aims to show that a pronounced reduction of energy consumption for ventilation as well as a significant improvement of the indoor climate can be achieved by converting older ventilation systems with constant volume flow and recirculation to systems with demand control and efficient heat recovery. The project is carried out in connection with the renovation of ventilation systems for classrooms at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense.
The task of SBi in the project is to perform measurements and carry out a questionnaire survey in cooperation with the University and also to evaluate and communicate the results of the demonstration project.
