Environmental declaration of building products
This project aims to propose recommendations for the establishment of a Danish environmental declaration scheme for building products. The scheme is to ensure quality assurance of the environmental data provided by the manufacturers of building products. It should also enable designers to select building products with the purpose of reducing the total environmental impact connected with their manufacture, the use and removal of building parts as well as entire buildings. Moreover, an environmental declaration scheme will support and the environmental initiatives of the manufacturers of building products and make them visible.
