Dimensioning methods and control strategies for hybrid ventilation
The project aims to promote wider use of hybrid ventilation in office buildings in Denmark by improving existing dimensioning methods for predicting potential and control principles in order that requirements to air quality, temperature level and energy consumption are met.
During the greater part of the year, the climate conditions prevalent in Denmark facilitate the use of natural ventilation and supplemented with mechanical ventilation, such a hybrid ventilation system would be efficient the remaining part of the year if it is optimally controlled.
