New professor in energy efficient ventilation technology
Alireza Afshari is new professor with special responsibilities at SBi, Aalborg University
Alireza Afshari was appointed professor with special responsibilities for energy efficient ventilation technology at the Department of Energy and Environment, SBi, Aalborg University on 1 April 2011.
SBi accentuated its focus on natural, mechanical and hybrid ventilation systems, passive and active cooling and air cleaning by appointing a professor with a unique insight into and experience of ventilation systems and indoor climate. The scientific challenges of energy-efficient ventilation techniques lie in developing new ventilation and control systems that can be adapted to changing user demands, while ensuring that the systems consume a minimum of energy.
