Guidelines on the Danish Building Regulations 2008
A translation of the SBi Guidelines 216 explaining and interpreting the provisions of the Danish Building Regulations 2008 (BR08) has been made available for an international audience. The text of the SBi Guidelines is accompanied by the full text of BR08 including the explanatory texts provided by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority.
The Guidelines are directed at all professional parties in the construction sector, especially building designers employed by consultants or contractors as well as local building controls.
The Guidelines comprise the same subjects as BR08 including building control, design and layout, structures, fire safety, indoor climate, energy consumption and services.
Regrettably the on-line version of the Guidelines as well as amendments and corrections are only available in Danish.
A printed version of SBi Guidelines 216 is available in English.
